Lisa Burke resides in the Cayman Islands with her husband Troy and their three children: two sons, aged 18 and 17, and a daughter who is 14. Troy & Lisa also work together in several businesses that they founded and operate together.

Lisa graduated from Stetson University in Deland, Florida in 1992 with her Bachelor in Business Administration in Accounting and then went on to obtain her CPA in 1994. Lisa’s career started in public practice with KPMG in Grand Cayman until 1997. After leaving KPMG, Lisa started Accounting Concepts to provide personalized accounting services for businesses on island and has developed the business over the past 20 years to become a full-service Accounting & Human Resource Consultancy firm for many loyal Caymanian businesses.

Over the past year, Lisa has become more involved in the management of the other family businesses and acts in the capacity of Managing Director for those companies. In keeping with this new role, she has decided to pursue a Master’s of Science in Leadership to expand the skillsets that she possesses to be able to strategically build, lead, and empower the teams within the businesses so that the goals and objectives can be accomplished. She is also currently pursuing becoming a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, photography, scrapbooking, tennis, walking her dogs and Sunday afternoon boating trips with friends & family. She is an active member of the John Gray Memorial Church, serving as an Elder from 2007 – 2016.
